R.I.P. Peter Warburton
We are extremely sad to announce that Peter Warburton, who had been Crewe Alexandra’s Club Photographer for many years, sadly passed away on Saturday evening at the University Hospital of North Staffordshire.
Peter was taken ill at Vale Park immediately after Saturday’s game having suffered a heart attack.
The medical staff on duty, along with the Club Doctor, were able to get him stabilised and he was transferred to hospital.
Despite the best efforts of the medical staff, he suffered a further heart attack and passed away.
Our sincere condolences go out to his wife, Pauline, close family and friends and our colleagues at Crewe Alexandra Football Club.
