Defender rallies the troops
The lads are ready to go again on Saturday and they know that on the big stage – and you don’t get much bigger than at Molineux – they need to show just what they are made of.
Carl Dickinson is certainly ready to go and if everybody can adopt the same mentality as the Vale defender, we will be in with a chance against Wolves.
He says: “It is up to us to make sure we go out and perform well, because if we perform like we did on Saturday ten we will get our backsides felt.
“We need to make sure that come Saturday we are ready and raring to go, because we know how difficult it is going to be.
“If you ask anybody about the Gaffer’s sides, one of the things they say is that they always give it a good go and I think that’s one of the things the Gaffer prides himself on, his teams having a bit of fight.
“We need to make sure on Saturday that w roll our sleeves up and we are ready to go to war.
“There is nothing for us to fear. At the end of the day they are at the top of the league because they are the best team at the minute.
“We need to go and put in a good show against the best team in the league and if we don’t, and we perform like we did on Saturday, we could be in trouble.
“At the end of the day we are still tenth and we need to make sure we go into every game and roll our sleeves up, get our heads down, work as hard as we can and make sure we try and get the result.”
