Defender confident but cautious
Adam Yates is, as are all of the Vale players, well aware of the difficulty a trip to Bradford City poses and he says Vale have to make sure they are on their toes.
Vale have two clean sheets in their last two games, but they won’t be taking anything for granted and are prepared for a battle at the Coral Windows Stadium.
Yates says: “Bradford is a difficult place to go. We went there last year and got totally dominated in the game but came away with the points.
“I am sure that will be in their manager’s and their players’ thoughts when we go there. We played well against them here earlier this season, but they are a team that have struggled of late.
“Despite that they are a team that can hurt us and if you look at what their threats are they can be a threat up front and a threat getting balls into the box and we have got to deal with that accordingly, because if we don’t we are going to be in trouble.
