Dany N’Guessan Agrees Contract Extension At Port Vale

Striker To Remain At Vale Park Until End Of Season

Dany N’Guessan has agreed a contract extension with Port Vale that will keep him at the club until 30 June 2015.

The 27-year-old striker, who originally joined the Valiants in October, has scored three goals since his arrival and has impressed with his direct style of play.

The former Rangers, Millwall and Southampton man was integral in the victory at Crawley Town last weekend, setting up Michael Brown for the opening goal.

Vale boss Rob Page is pleased that N’Guessan will remain at club and believes the forward will become a key player as his fitness levels continue to improve.

“I think Dany has shown in recent games what he is capable of doing,” Page told port-vale.co.uk. “It was a frustrating game for him at Crawley, he did everything other than get a goal for himself.

“He created numerous chances and I think we’re seeing now that the fitter he gets, the more benefit he is going to be to the team.”
