After the resounding success of our first tournament with 24 teams entering, Port Vale with partners Engage Communities, Staffordshire Police and The Princes Charities are running a second tournament this coming Friday at Dimensions. Once again Norman Smurthwaite is donating tickets for the Notts County game the following day.
Funding for the tournaments comes from the Crime Commissioner and gives young people in our area opportunities to use their leisure time productively in the long summer holiday.
The following Friday(29th) to break new ground the partnership is sponsoring a "Boom Boom" cricket tournament in Tunstall Park-most footballers think they can play cricket!
