Fantasy Football Update

We pick out a couple of teams who havdone well this week

With a week off for the international break, Fantasy League managers have a bit of breathing space to have a good look at their team and to make necessary changes in team selection and to consider their options regarding transfers.

Amongst those who seem to have their fingers on the button are the two sides selected for a mention this week – David Banks and Hayley Lingard each did well last week – proof that keeping a check on things pays off.

David’s team, Billy’s Biscuit Tin (wonder where that name came from?) netted him a respectable 59 points, whilst Hayley’s Thunder United managed 61 points.

Billy’s Biscuit Tin have Simon Mignolet in goal and a back three of Ashley Cole, Per Mertesacker and Michael Dawson. In midfield there’s Ross Barkley, Yaya Touré, Kevin Nolan, Steven Gerrard and Aaron Ramsey. Up front are Daniel Sturridge and Sergio Agüero

In goal for Thunder United, Hayley has gone for Jussi Jääskeläinen, with a back four of Per In midfield, Nathan Dyer is joined by Swansea team mate Miguel Michu and Ross Barkley. Up front are Robin van Pursie, Loïc Remy and Rickie Lambert. Mertesacker, Pablo Zabaleta, Winston Reid and John O’Shea.

Have you used the transfer market to your advantage yet? You have a great opportunity to do so during the international break. Remember, the bulk of the points are scored by your strikers so it may be worth looking at the way your team lines up too.
