A look at the League One stadiums we will be visiting this season
STADIUM: Griffin Park
HOME OF: Brentford
ADDRESS: Braemar Road, Brentford, TW8 0NT
CAPACITY: 12,763
PITCH SIZE: 110 x 73 yards
PLANNED DATE OF VISIT: Saturday January 11th
LAST VISIT THERE:
Our last visit to Griffin Park was on Valentines’ Day 2009 when Lee Sinnott was at the helm. Unfortunately Vale returned home empty handed following a 2-0 defeat.
Vale managed to hold out until the stroke of half time, when Karleigh Osbourne put the home side in front and despite all Vale’s efforts an equaliser wasn’t forthcoming.
Vale were still in with a sniff of earning a point from the game but were dealt a blow four minutes from time when Charlie McDonald netted a second for the Bees as the home side claimed maximum points.
VALE LINE-UP THAT DAY:
Joe Anyon, Lee Collins, Gareth Owen, Adnan Ahmed (Rob Taylor, 76), Scott Brown, Ross Davidson, Anthony Griffith, Luke Prosser, Simon Richman, Louis Dodds, Marc Richards. Subs not used: Chris Martin, Danny Glover, Kyle Perry, Steve Thompson
