Defender here until the end of the season
There was more good news today from Vale Park after defender Liam Chilvers was given permission from the Football League late today to sign for the club after his contract at Telford expired.
Liam played the first game of his second loan spell with the club at Aldershot at the end of November, but his current loan deal ended after the home win against Plymouth Argyle last weekend.
He has agreed to a new deal which will see the former Notts County defender join Vale until the end of the current season.
Liam will be part of the Port Vale squad that travels to Gillingham on Friday for the top of the table clash at the Priestfield Stadium.
