Community Trust celebrates with Mars Milk
Hamil Road FC based at Vale Park is celebrating a £300.00 donation from Mars Milk to support start up costs for the coming season. The club is fully inclusive and provides high quality opportunities for training and competitive football.
Two disabled teams and one women’s team will be competing in the Staffordshire County Women’s and Staffordshire FA Ability Counts Leagues respectively.
Hamil Road FC is a Port Vale FC Community Trust initiative, the club was founded in June and has been delivering sessions utilising their community FA qualified staff. Coach Martyn Cooke says: “Although the women’s team is in its infancy, the two sessions we run every week have already generated a lot of interest”.
“With this donation from the Mars Milk Fund we can buy a new strip for the forthcoming season and it will help towards the payment of League and pitch fees”.
A recent survey conducted by Mars Milk revealed that despite seven out of ten of us starting the week with intention of spending at least two hours on our favourite sport or hobby, cost and tiredness invariably put paid to these plans.

The fund is open to residents of, and clubs and organisations based in the UK and Republic of Ireland only.
Applicants must be 13 years or over and only one application will be accepted per person, club or organisation.
