We sat down with Darren Moore to talk about his journey in the world of football. With more than 600 playing appearances across the EFL and Premier League and more than 300 games as a manager, he is one of the most recognisable figures on the touchline.
Unfortunately as a player Darren was on the receiving end of racist abuse, in this extended interview we spoke about the impact that had on him and his family and we hear about how he was inspired by West Brom's Cyrille Regis, Laurie Cunningham and Brendon Batson to take up football as a career, rather than cricket!
This interview coincides with Black History Month and the EFL's 'Together Against Racism' campaign, to read more about the campaign click here.
