Port Vale are pleased to announce the signing of Ryan Lloyd on a one-year deal, with the midfielder set to join the club when his contract expires at Macclesfield Town.
Having progressed through the youth system at Vale Park, Newcastle-under-Lyme born Lloyd is a name that supporters will be familiar with.
Despite making a handful of appearances for the Valiants during his initial six-year stay, he joined Macclesfield in 2017 and he was a regular fixture in John Askey's side that won the National League title in 2018.
Now reunited with his former boss, the 25-year-old is looking to impress him once more and his addition adds more competition for places in Vale's midfield ahead of the new Sky Bet League Two campaign.
