Vale will make the trip to Cumbria on Tuesday night as they face Carlisle United in Sky Bet League Two, and the officials have now been confirmed by the EFL.
Ben Toner has been selected as the man in the middle for the clash, and the Lancashire-based referee has taken charge of one Carabao Cup and one Sky Bet League Two game this season.
He did officiate 37 games during the 2017/18 campaign, and you can find a breakdown of them below:
3 Emirates FA Cup matches
3 Checkatrade Trophy matches
11 Sky Bet League One matches
20 Sky Bet League Two matches
Two of those fixtures involved Port Vale, with Toner in charge of the home draw against Morecambe and the defeat to Carlisle United in what was the Valiants' final game at Vale Park in 2017/18.
Over the course of his 37 matches, he handed out 105 yellow cards and five red cards, including one for Antony Kay in that last meeting between Vale and Carlisle.
Barry Gordon and Richard Wild will be the assistants for the evening, with Andy Haines taking up the role of fourth official.
