Vale got their Sky Bet League 1 campaign started with a 1-1 draw against Brentford.Shaleum Logan scored the opening goal for Brentford with a sweet 20 yard strike after cutting inside from the right.
Captain Doug Loft got Vale's goal five minutes later as the ball fell nicely to him in the Brentford box.
