The Valiants will travel to the DW Stadium on Tuesday to take on Wigan Athletic, for our second fixture of our EFL Trophy group-stage campaign, where we will look to build on the two points earnt in our opening game penalty shootout victory over Tranmere Rovers in September. The match officials for the fixture have been confirmed and can be found below:
Samuel Barrott will take charge of the game, his fourth match so far this season, after having taken charge of 24 games last season.
League Two: 2 (20/21)
FA Cup: 1 (19/20)
EFL Trophy: 1 (20/21)
National League: 17 (19/20)
Premier League 2: 5 (19/20)
FA Youth Cup: 1 (19/20)
Barrott has never officiated a Vale fixture prior to tomorrow's clash. In the three games he has officiated so far this season, he has issued seven yellow cards.
His assistants will be Robert Atkin and Christopher Husband with David Richardson taking on the role as fourth official.
