Port Vale are backing #StokeonTrentTogether, a support network set up in response to the coronavirus pandemic.
The network is a consortium made up of Stoke on Trent City Council, Voluntary Sector Organisations and volunteers who will be working closely with health colleagues to ensure that the people of Stoke-on-Trent are protected and kept well informed.
Their website has been set up in order to co-ordinate the response locally to ensure that everyone who needs help can receive it and that everyone who is well and able to offer help to others, can do so. If you are interested in volunteering, see https://corona19.vast.org.uk/ for more information or call 0800 5615610.
#StokeonTrentTogether can assist you with the following:
- Prescription collection
- Emergency food parcel
- Advice concerning Energy supplier to top-up your gas or electricity meter
- If you are feeling anxious or lonely and need to talk to somebody
- Dog walking
This service will operate 7 days a week 9:00am to 5:00pm.
