Brabin

Gary Brabin says he has a lot of confidence in Vale's future despite The Valiants loss to Swindon Town on Saturday.

The first team coach feels that The Valiants are still playing good football and scoring goals, despite currently sitting in 19th place in the table.

"It would be easy for us to come away from home and just get everybody behind the ball defending, and playing like a relegation battle team.

"We think we've got more there though, we've shown we've got more there, and there is still belief that we can go into games and get good results.

"I look at the performance Saturday, and I think we had enough there that we can build on and win games of football."

Newport County AFC will be the visitors to Vale Park on Saturday, and Brabin says a lot of hard work with both players and staff will be put in to prepare for the fixture.

However, the Brabin believes that the players must cut out individual errors on the pitch, if Vale are to start winning games.

"It's tough when we're looking at the goals we're conceeding.

"Player's have got to sense danger. It's those mistakes that have cost us games, and we've made enough mistakes to have lost more than two games.

"Hopefully we've got them all out of the way, and we can build from that."
