Vale host Yeovil Town in the Emirates FA Cup Second Round on Saturday afternoon, but what happened the last time the two teams met?
Under the caretaker management of Ned Kelly and Chris Morgan, the Valiants travelled to Huish Park back in September and they were forced to settle for a draw in Sky Bet League Two.
Vale were the better team in the first half, with David Worrall and Tom Pope going close before the scoring was opened on 29 minutes. Tyler Denton provided the assist with a pinpoint cross that allowed Pope to head beyond Artur Krysiak.
Following the restart, the Valiants continued to control proceedings, but they conceded against the run of play in the 65th minute. Jake Gray's initial shot was spilled by Kelle Roos and Otis Khan was on hand to fire home the rebound.
James Gibbons was then sent off in the latter stages, but Yeovil couldn't make the most of their one-man advantage and the spoils were shared.
